Rangers fans must be counting down the days until their miserable domestic campaign comes to an end.
Faint hopes of another famous run to the Europa League Final were dashed in Bilbao last Thursday as Gers fell short at the quarter-final stage.
They had a free weekend to get over that disappointment too, as Celtic and Aberdeen booked their places in the Scottish Cup Final.
And by the time the Light Blues kick off in Paisley on Saturday, their Treble-chasing Old Firm rivals may well have been crowned four-in-a-row champions at Tannadice.
Now, Barry Ferguson must attempt to motivate his players for the remaining five league games of the season. As far as dead rubbers go, this is right up there.
The Ibrox side will conclude another year as Premiership runners-up, while the odds are firmly stacked against St Mirren finishing higher than sixth as they trail Aberdeen and Dundee United by nine points.
It's already been a successful campaign for Saints as miracle-worker Stephen Robinson secured a hat-trick of top-six finishes.
The Buddies will now set their sights on a treble of victories over this weekend's visitors, having won the two previous meetings.

Team news
Aside from Evan Mooney and Elvis Bwomono, St Mirren should have a full squad to choose from. Top scorer Toyosi Olusanya departed the club during the week to sign for MLS side Houston Dynamo.
Walking wounded Rangers could be without several first-team regulars. Leon Balogun suffered a fractured cheekbone in last Thursday's Europa League quarter-final defeat to Athletic Bilbao, while Ridvan Yilmaz was also forced off. Rafael Fernandes and Tom Lawrence are both unavailable. Long-term crocks Neraysho Kasanwirjo and Dujon Sterling won't play again this season. Meanwhile Ross McCausland will serve a one-match suspension following his sending off at Pittodrie.
